

Turning on Cloud/Wi-Fi on a PLC Gateway (G3 Gateways Only)
By default, our PLC Gateways have their Cloud/Wi-Fi capabilities disabled.
This is due to the majority of the applications for these devices being an on-premises solution only. Most customers are installing these in a site that does not allow or want any internet connectivity.
In some cases, a Cloud connection to Analytix is desired. Here’s how to enable that.
This can be done by connecting the gateway to a laptop and navigating to the assigned IP address of the gateway in a web browser.
In the parameters page, you can then enable Cloud Services.
This will allow the Gateway to connect to a Wi-Fi network via the Sensoteq Credentials App (Available from your App store on your mobile device).
