First Steps

  1. Check Power to the Device:

  2. Ensure that the device is powered up.

  3. Check LED status

  4. If the LED is not Slow Breathing Cyan, move to the next steps.

  5. Power Cycle the Device:

    1. Disconnect the device from its power source.

    2. Wait for approximately 30 seconds.

    3. Reconnect the device to the power source and allow it to restart fully.

    4. Observe if the device reconnects to the network after the restart.

  6. Check Network Connectivity: (Wi-Fi only)

    1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi router / hotspot is powered on and functioning properly.

    2. Verify that other devices connected to the same network can access the internet.

    3. If other devices are also experiencing connectivity issues, consider resetting your router by following the manufacturer's instructions.

  7. Confirm Device Settings:

    1. Double-check the gateway’s network settings to ensure that it is configured to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Consider using the Sensoteq Credentials app (iPhone/Android) to reconnect the device to a network.

    2. Make sure the device is within range of your Wi-Fi router and there are no physical obstructions causing signal interference.

  8. Check Cellular Signal Strength: (Cellular only)

    1. Ensure that you are in an area with sufficient cellular coverage.

    2. If you are in a location with weak signal strength, try moving to a different area or position to see if it improves the connectivity.
